As most know, one of the biggest ingredients to a high-end looking website is good quality, high resolution images. Part of my job as a team member of Delaware.Net, Inc. is to capture quality photography for use in building our clients’ websites. I had the opportunity this week to travel to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware and shoot the Jake’s Seafood locations for use on their new website, which will be custom built, and contain our Content Management System, Team-Logic™. October 16th, 2007Delaware.Net is proud to announce that we are a premier sponsor of the 2008 Delaware Expo Trade Show to be held at the Dover Downs Hotel and Casino on March 5th, 2008.
The Delaware Expo Trade Show is a Business-To-Business (B2B) show where businesses from across the state meet to market their services to each other, and to participate in seminars that help them with sales, business management, IT issues, and personal development. The majority of the proceeds go to area chambers of commerce.

Courtyard by Marriott Mixer – Newark, Delaware
July 18th, 2007Delaware.net attended the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce (NCCCC) mixer at the courtyard by Marriott this week, the food and DJ were great and there was a lot of networking taking place. The event host was outstanding and the good news (for them) was we did not get a chance to visit the rooms because they were all occupied. The sales and marketing team at Delaware.net gets around so, look for us at an event near you soon! We love talking about web technologies and ways our company can help your organization so don’t be afraid to approach us and ask questions.
Work Hard, Play Hard

The team at Delaware.net took a day off last week to celebrate the completion of several large projects. We reserved a racing limousine and headed north to Philadelphia for a day of bowling at the world-famous Lucky Strike bowling center. There were a few casualties along the way, namely a digital camera, two bowling balls and a glass but thats a topic for another article. The team had a blast and outside of one of the technical team members managing to roll 8 gutter balls in a row, we proved that a Delaware.net bowling team is not out of the realm of possibilities in the future. Team building and fellowship are key to providing a work atmosphere that is not only fun but productive and right now, Delaware.net has the best team of web professionals anywhere. Look forward to more fun events to be posted here soon!
Dogfish Head Brewery Mixer – Milton, Delaware

Greg and I attended the Delaware Chamber of Commerce mixer at the Dogfish Head Brewery in Milton, Delaware last night. Nice place. Really good beer. It was 98 degrees out, very humid, and there was no air conditioning in the building. Everyone was sweating profusely, but with the chicken house fans they had, and the cold beer on tap – we survived! Overall it was a good mixer, with plenty of people from all over the state.
