In a recent interview at PubCon, Google Search Engineer Matt Cutts highlighted a few important things to look for in 2009.
I have listed some key points from the Matt Cutts Interview below as well as the video. Enjoy!
The importance of website conversion data versus raw Analytic data.
Having multiple sub-domains optimized for a niche will no longer help you dominate a search engine result page (SERP).
Universal Search is more important than ever before and only growing in importance (not good for international companies with one domain).
Blogs, Videos and Images are only growing as a means to reach a broader more search educated (tech savvy) customer with your message, products and services.
Your website content must be optimized for mobile devices, meaning minimal and selective use of flash.
